Anything good getting added for Champ Seals?

I was debating on buying the Sword for 25 Champ Seals as my current weapon is crap. I was debating though on spending the seals now or waiting for the patch to see what I can get. I tried looking to see what they are adding but could not find anything.

Q u o t e:
Also, would any of you know how many Champion Seals it will be possible to get per day in 3.2?

I want them all. Mounts, tabards, and pets. I will eventually have them one day, but 5 seals a day is slow going. :)

Assuming you are eligible for all of the new dailies being added to the Argent Tournament -- meaning you have championed all primary factions and reached exalted with them as well as with the Argent Crusade and Silver Covenant/Sunreavers -- and plan on doing Trial of the Champion, the 5-player Crusaders' Coliseum dungeon on Heroic mode, the maximum number of Champion's Seals you can obtain in a single day will be 15 after patch 3.2 hits, not including any lucky Champion's Seal drops in the Champion's Purse.

Here is a breakdown of the costs of some of the Argent Tournament rewards in 3.2:

Argent Crusader's Tabard: 50 seals
Argent Pony Bridle (for your squire): 150 seals
Bind-on-Account chest pieces: 60 seals
Bind-on-Account weapons: 60-95 seals
Bind-on-Account trinkets: 75 seals
Argent Warhorse/Argent Charger (epic ground mounts): 100 seals
Quel'dorei Steed/Sunreaver Hawkstrider (epic ground mounts): 100 seals
Silver Covenant Hippogryph/Sunreaver Dragonhawk (epic flying mounts): 150 seals
Shimmering Wyrmling (pet): 40 seals

Q u o t e:
I have a question, what's the difference with the AC wyrmling and the outlands one?

they look exactly the same to me, and since people will only see it not read the name, how will people know if its different?

You are right that it is a recolor first and foremost. The one you buy in Outlands is greenish and not what the wyrmlings in the blood elf starting area look like. The wrymling available at the tournament is much more in line with the ones found in the blood elf starting area. This is just sort of a chance to give players access to that wyrmling.

A couple of minor differences between the outland wyrmling and the Shimmering Wyrmling from the Argent Crusade:

  • The Shimmering Wyrmling flies higher (around shoulder height instead of knee height).
  • It's summoned via a pretty cool Arcane spell cast to give it more of a high elf/blood elf sort of feel, given the fact it's summoned via magic rather than released from a cage.
  • It has a special idle animation.
Of course these are all small differences, but again, we wanted to give players a chance of snatching up the wyrmling from the blood elf areas.

Why don't you start responding to the important things that actually matter in this game? Maybe that will grant you a dignified response. Like class balance perhaps? Or are you paid to avoid the difficult questions?

Well, clearly I'm responding to questions that matter to some people, otherwise this thread wouldn't exist. I apologize if I gave the impression that your questions or concerns are more important and matter more than others. They aren't and they don't. If a Blizzard employee is responding to a thread you don't care about, don't touch it. It's better than trolling and derailing threads that matter to people who aren't you. At least you'd still be allotted the ability to post on our forums.

Do you need crusader title (ei: all factions championed) to be able to purchase chests?

Yes, the vendor selling these items will simply ask you to come back when you have earned the Crusader title if you don't yet have it.

Edit: I was wrong about this originally, sorry!

Q u o t e:
On PTR I got Champ seals from each boss from the new 5 man on regular. So technically speaking the max number of seals per day = 372 + the chance of extras from the purses. Of course this is only under the assumption that they plan to keep the seals on the regular version of the instances bosses, and also under the assumption that there are people crazy enough to do that instance 5 times an hour every hour on the hour for a whole day, and still have time to do the dailies.

Emblems of Conquest and Champion's Seals will not drop in the Trial of the Champion (5-player dungeon) on normal mode, nor will there be a daily dungeon quest associated with normal mode, though the items that drop in normal mode are quite good compared to other level 80 dungeons.

One Emblem of Conquest and one Champion's Seal will drop off each boss in Trial of the Champion Heroic mode. There will also be a Heroic daily dungeon quest added to the rotation for this dungeon that awards two Emblems of Triumph.

Thanks for the answer! Lot of folk were thinking that might have to, so this is great news to many *^_^*

Not that I love trampling on people's souls (particularly on Friday), but I was wrong about this. You do need the Crusader title to be eligible to purchase loot from this vendor. I've edited my original response.

Sorry. :(

That's... kinda lame.

Is there a reason for this?

It seems to me that farming the seals in and of itself should be enough of a timesink for this, especially when compared to the speed at which heroic emblems can be gained.

Q u o t e:

It's ok. Would've been nice to get a chestpiece but eh, c'est la vie *^_^*

These heirloom items will also be offered for emblems in Dalaran.

The idea behind the Argent Tournament (Crusaders' Coliseum excluded) is to provide the solo or duo players an avenue to acquire some good gear over time without necessarily having to do 5-, 10-, or 25-player content. This is the primary reason why the Crusader title is required in order to access items that one would ordinarily find purchasable with emblems obtained through 5-player dungeons.

Just the same though, we don't want to cut off access to these heirloom items from those who spend more of their time in dungeons than partaking in the Argent Tournament, which is why they will also be available for purchase with emblems.

Am I wrong in remembering that there was going to be some kinda mobile mailbox or bank or something like that with the 3.2 argent tournament goodies? I'm not sure if it's just me, but I don't see anything like that in the descriptions I've read.

Well there's the Argent Pony Bridle for your squire. He can periodically run bank, mail, or vendor errands for you.
