Like the name says, i assume it may be a form of a bot. It would be super helpful, but if it is illegal i refuse to use one.

Q u o t e:
Well what i mean is like lets say you have a macro, any macro. What i want to find out is:

Is it illegal to get a program that presses this macro over and over in certain time intervals so you dont have to press it yourself?

I'm just curious to be honest.

Well, based on what you just asked bout, it sounds as though that would very likely represent a violation of our policies. If you activate a program, and that program takes actions on its own, particularly at 'timed intervals' then that sounds like automation.

It would probably be best to avoid that one.

Q u o t e:

/stopcasting
/use 13
/use 14
/cast Tidal Force
/cast Nature’s Swiftness
/cast Healing Wave

With one push of a button you activate two trinkets and cast three spells, obviously multiple actions, yet this is a perfectly legal macro.

Q u o t e:
The macro you describe is not allowed.

If you had to press the button 5 times, and it completed all those actions then it would be allowed.

Actually Hathios - that's a legal macro, and it is possible via the default macroing system. This is due to the prevalence of instant cast, off global cooldown actions in the macro.
