Trial Account Limitations and Upgrade Costs

So, I have a friend!

This may come as a shock to many of you, but yes, indeed I have a friend who I hope will ultimately start playing this here game with me.

I'm getting ready to make the "pitch" to him that before he even really starts playing, he needs to go ahead and upgrade his trial account to a paying account, because I know there are limitations on trial accounts. The problem is this:

I personally have no idea what the upgrade packages cost (Since I've had a fully upgraded account for years) and I'm actually not really sure what the trial account limitations are, as I believe they have changed over time. (CUrse you gold selling spammer types!)

So, can someone point me to those pieces of information?
Are there any "package" or "special" deals on upgrades?
What portions of the upgrades if any include a free month?

As for updating, you update online from your account management, or by buying the retail games in a store. The battlechest (wich include both Original and TBC) is cheaper than online.

Online, it cost 20$ to upgrade to the original game, 30$ for TBC, and 45$ for WotLK.

The free month comes with the purchase of the original game.

I think that about covers it!

Thanks, Sarika!
