Can't mount Gryphon

i can't mount Gryphon in Northrend. when i mounted, it said : You can't mount that here. why? i am lvl 76, and the riding skill is 225. i have a Golden Gryphon and a Snowy Gryphon. i can mount them in Outland. but can't mount in Northrend anywhere.

To make use of a flying mount in Northrend, it is necessary to acquire Cold Weather Flying. Currently, this ability becomes available for purchase at level 77, though there are likely some changes coming for mounts and training in the future.
