Ninja'ing has been in WoW for as long as I can remember yet lately with raids being pugged it is more of a regular occurrence, yet Blizzard seem to refuse to see the issue. I was told by a GM today that the ML'er can give loot out willy nilly regardless of who wins the roll/needs the item at no consequence what so ever. I think it is about time that Blizzard come up with a ninja proof loot system or stop being lazy and actually deal with people who take loot from people who won the right to gain it with the highest roll..

But, how do you define "stealing" exactly? One might say that in the context of loot, stealing would be someone else getting the item; or perhaps it means that they didn't give the item to someone they thought should get it. Where do we draw the line?

There are many situations in which the outcome of the loot is determined by means other than simply "/random". If you really want to utilize the "/random" method, Master Looter is not the best solution, "Need/Greed" or "Group Loot" are built in systems which assign the loot to the highest roller.

On the other hand, should there be blatant misdirection and misinformation regarding the method in which the loot is to be distributed then we are more than willing to investigate the situation and take the appropriate course of action. But, the best way to avoid any issues is simply to raid with those that you are able to trust.

Should you believe a different looting method, or our policies should be changed/implemented please feel free to post on our Suggestions forum.
