There is a (temporary) fix.
This is likely a bug with quivers/ammo pouches and their speed boost or base auto shot on it’s own.

So this isn’t affecting all hunters but it happened to me and another hunter while kiting raptors in STV around the water. At first relogging fixed it and noticed after certain actions such as using mend pet, /petattack (if pet hits first). After trying to figure it out to do a full report and having to relog a couple of times however it completely broke.
Nothing I do will get auto-shot to work.
Sadly however due to this bug my hunter is pretty much unplayable.
P.S. Yes I reported it in-game too but feel that it deserves a thread for the seriousness of this bug.
