Q u o t e:
I was wondering if it was possible to get the registered name on an account changed if it was created with your parents help under their name. Identification could be provided of both me and the parent.
If you have reached the age of adulthood then you can fill out our Terms of Use form to get the name of the account holder updated into your name from your parent's name.
World of Warcraft Terms of Use Form: http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&articleId=21469 The form itself should be filled out by the child who is now an adult. There is one section the parent whose name is on the account will have to sign.
5) Release Authorization is to be signed by the parent or guardian whose name is currently on the account, as it notes right on the form.
You will also have to include proof of identification for the current account holder, as well as for the child who is now an adult. The child's identification should prove you are now an adult(birth dates do this job well) so we know we can have your name on the account.
I hope that provides you with the information you need to get your name updated, Glyken :)
