Q u o t e:
Balance druids seemed even less viable than Feral, which is not ideal and something we want to improve. We tend to take a longer view on some of these things than do the players. We’ve had other balance issues that we’ve wanted to address in PvP first, and getting every spec of every class viable has had to take a back seat on occasion.

So 6 seasons is not enough of a "longer view" on fixing moonkin pvp?

Really i think we have had enough of "every class has to have 1 viable spec first"...

how about we spend some money and time on these classes after multiple seasons of total worthless pvp viability.

what you cant work on multiple classes at the same time? why does it seem that you are able to work on less and less balance/specs every patch? where is all the time and money going?

this is pathetic

Fixes

- Roots instant

- Give moonkin a heal in form already. norish is the perfect fit

- Give typhoon a larger knock back

- Give moonkin a stun or silence already.

- Give moonkin a better "oh crap button" like other classes have to survive the inital focus, or at least have a better then 1/12000 chance in living a stun lock.

- Make the treants actually do something for the class....they are trees, they could heal, root, damage...

- Buff armor back to where they were

it has been a few major patches and after a few pony speeches we got nothing excpet a respec button.

oh joy i get to heal when i am a dps spec.

I think the Frost mage to Balance druid comparison is very relevant. We don't want to have to give every caster (or every class) all of the mage tools in order to make them PvP viable. The problem is that "PvP viable" has become so synonymous with "Good at Arena 2s." We are taking steps to deemphasize that as the only way to play PvP in WoW in 3.2, and we're prepared to take more.

When I say "we tend to take a longer view" it has more to do with what we want PvP in WoW to be and not about giving Balance druids Ice Block and Blink.

There is an old-school alternative, which is that every class gets 1 PvP spec (say Resto for druids, Frost for mages and Arms for warriors) and using the others would be akin to using a Balance spec to tank. We don't think that solution is as fun, but it does make the game a lot easier to balance, and for some players that is a big chunk of their having fun.
