Deleting an Exotic Pet

Okay, I'm a hunter with 5 pets - so 4 stable slots filled. It took a while and gold to set up talents a few times (dual spec) and with the nerfs to BM spec, have only Marksman & Survival.

Now, I can't delete the exotic pets I have, apparently without wasting gold (twice) to respec, make BM down to Exotic Pets, delete pet, and then respec back. Isn't there any other way than this to remove an unwanted pet? Of course I tried drag and delete, but that doesn't work.

What is the best way to delete an unwanted exotic pet if you aren't Beastmaster?

That would be my advice as well. Make sure you include the name of the pet if you named it or the type of pet it is (i.e. Core Hound).
