Please! Do Something About This.

Go to Garthos realm and look in the Auction House at the number of green armor that is being sold for ridiculous amounts of gold.
We are talking about complete blockades of lower levels that have now ability to buy armor from the AH because it is all repriced at ridiculous prices like 49gold for EVERY level 31 - 35 cloth item.
level blocks 20-29, 30-39 and even 10-19 to some extent are the same way.

AND, to add insult to injury, if you mention in Trade-Chat the absolute greedy stupidity of it and how Only Gold-Buyers can possibly put cloths on their characters your message is highly likely to be followed by a Gold-Sellers spam advertisement. interestingly some of the sellers in these Auction House Gouges have clasic gold-seller names too.

It seriously has gotten so bad that my cloth wearing alt has had to stay with items 10 - 12 lvls below him because it would cost 500g to 600g just to get cloths for the next 2 -3 levels. It's not only cloth armor, its all of them.

Thanks

While the sale of gold for real-world currencies is considered in violation of our policies, auctioning items for inflated values does not indicate that the item's seller is selling the profits for real-world currency or is violating any sort of policy. As your fellow players have mentioned, the World of Warcraft is a free market economy in which sellers are welcome to set their price at a value of their choosing without fear of the Game Master Department issuing account action. I, personally, am unaware of any actions taken on a player who has elected to sell an item on the auction house for a value higher than the norm.

We appreciate your attention to this matter nonetheless.

Best wishes.
