HACKERS bots and the lack of response

No ETA for a fix ???
The realms are full of hackers and with no hope in sight I give up, I'm done and will let my subscription expire. I have over the course of many years of playing this game seen a lot of exploiters and hackers which are usually dealt with in due time, it astounds me that Blizzard is doing nothing and it's common knowledge that anyone can hack and face no ban (speed hack flight hack teleport hack invisible mining hack). refer to my other post entitled "hackers and bots"

So while you sit and wait to lower the "dragnet" to catch them all you're losing long term players like me tired of being attacked by players who are willing to use hacks to gain a tactical advantage against honest paying customers.

I'm an officer of my guild and the number one reason lately for guildees quitting is "tired of the hackers"

If there is no fix before my subscription expires I will not renew it and will look for another MMO and will not suggest to anybody that wow is worth the $15 a month to be surrounded by hackers and bots.

As of this post I have 430+ days /played on just my main and feel devastated to walk away after so much work but feel I have no choice if this long term problem isn't fixed promptly.

best regards and good luck with everything life throws your way,
Urn

You have my sincerest apologies that the perception is that nothing is being done to address players abusing our policies or exploiting the game to gain an unfair advantage over their fellow player. As a Blizzard employee, I sometimes take it for granted that the blood, sweat, and tears that are shed combating hackers and bots isn't always visible to the players, and I'm terribly sorry that we are unable to make our efforts more visible without keying these malicious players in to our processes.

As another poster has already stated in this thread, we have a multifaceted approach when it comes to removing these players from the game. While it is largely believed that we will only take action in large waves, this is not entirely true. Several malicious players are removed from the game individually following player reports, but there are others that may be monitored and addressed in large fell swoops to ensure they are unable to identify how they were identified.

While I am unable to speak volumes about the actions that are being taken behind the scenes, I can tell you that it is our utmost desire to remove these players from the game as quickly as possible using multiple resources. Our Development and Support Departments dedicate much time to removing these players from the game and addressing the overarching issues which allow players to take advantage of these systems. I realize that this may be a frustrating time for our players, and I humbly request that you bear with us. We will do everything in our power to address this issue and improve your quality of gameplay.

enhance their stats and abilities giving them a distinct unfair advantage over other players that are not using third party programs.

That's not possible in WoW, Shaade.

Oh, you might alter you UI to make it LOOK like you have 10 million HP - you don't.

If you see anyone telling you that you can - that is most likely a scam artist trying to infect your system with malware.

If you see someone that is obviously breaking the in-game laws of physics a report is EXACTLY what you should do so we can check into things.

All we need is a name and if it's a BG, a realm - and a brief description of the activity.

Really no need to speak with a Game Master if all those bits are included. It may be awhile before your petition can be addressed but it will be looked into.

Yup, seems to be a lot of that going around tonight.

Be mindful of the age of posts folks.
