Hmm, it seems that alot of people are getting hacked and losing there gold and items, even tho this is retrievable it still takes time that blizzard has to deal with

as a suggestion to blizzard (hopefully a blue can respond about how they feel about this)

about 60+% (not sure just estimating) of wow players have a banking toon with there own personal bank to store stuff in, now as gm of that bank a hacker can still take everything, why not put a lock on GB (you have to put in a password to unlock it to take gold/items out) and on guild disbanning (to disban a guild you need a password for it).

I know this seems confusing to some people but i believe this to be pretty simple.

And i know some people are thinking that "well then in a raiding guild a gm can lock the gb from everyone and you will lose your stuff in there" . . . .ya gms can already do that

i think this would be effective in some ways

This is something that can also lead to a lot of confusion as you would need a password reset method that is separate from your account management password reset. Or it would have to reset both each time which I can easily see people complaining about. Also, if your login password is compromised, what exactly says they won't have the bank password since those toons tend to get used regularly?

If you are concerned about further security measures, I recommend either downloading the iphone authenticator application (free) or purchasing an authenticator from the Blizzard store when they are available.
