First, I'd like to apologize for any inconvenience this issue with Retaliation might have caused for you, and if anything was interrupted.

We're aware of the issues currently occurring on this battlegroup, and they are under investigation as this is being posted. As soon as we have more information for you, we'll provide them here.

When we say that, we mean that we're aware of what is occurring at the moment; that doesn't mean that we necessarily know what the cause of a long term issue may be.

Most importantly, it means that we're working to resolve the issue as soon as we can.

Yes, we thought that this issue was resolved. Clearly that wasn't the case, despite a good run for a bit there. I'm just sorry that these issues have persisted =/.

Our technicians will do their utmost to get Retaliation back up as soon as they can. Hopefully we can make some headway regarding a lasting resolution too.

The fact that we were reminded of to follow code of conduct rules means blizz knows how pissed off our battlegroup is. But in all honesty if you would just give us a straight forward answer and not treat us like 10 year olds who need just a general answer to get by im sure everyone would be much happier.

We aren't provided with specific information to this effect, and the completely honest truth is that even if we were, we would not be at liberty to reveal it publicly for a number of different reasons. The important part is that when something arises, we get it working again as soon as we can.

2. What is the opinion of blizz on FREE server transfers for the affected battlegroup? I have yet to see one post answered by blizz on this issue and avoiding it will not make people feel better.

I've posted on this exact issue a few times now. We would prefer to institute a long term fix for realms that are experiencing issues rather than take steps which would simply damage the long term viability of those realms.

Free realm transfers are generally offered from realms that are experiencing issues due to overpopulation to underpopulated realms, which is not the case here.

As I stated earlier, If you would like compensation for these issues, though, you can create a constructive post on our Suggestions forum to that effect.

That isn't a "no cost" solution. If they give us the transfers for free, they're losing a lot of money. If they just ignore the issue and people slowly start to transfer off on their own, they at least bring in a little extra revenue.

That absolutely is not the intention =/. The reason that transfers are unlikely to be offered is the potentially negative impact they would have on the realms as a whole.

If it can't be fixed, then don't fix it. Just let people go somewhere else and forget about the problem. Right now, the realm's long term viability takes a big hit every week.

To use a metaphor, we aren't going to scrap the hot rod because of a bad spark plug. As frustrating as these issues may be in the short term (I certainly do not want to downplay or dismiss that) they will be resolved in the long term.
