I'm getting pretty sick of it. I have two nephews who play the game and they were both hacked in the last two days. It's pretty pathetic that the game has so many serious security issues, but to put out these authenticators that supposedly alleviate the problem, charge for them when they should have came with the friggen game in the first place, and never have enough of them? I'm starting to think the whole think is a scam, to be honest.

I apologize that you have not been able to pick up an Authenticator as of yet, Meyoci, but I assure you that we restock them on the Blizzard Store as often as possible. As for the misunderstanding you seem to have about the game and our security, I can assure you that we did not release the Authenticators to cover up any holes that we left in our security. On the contrary we have put efforts in to allowing offering the Authenticators to allow our players an additional level of security. Please note that in section ten of the Terms of Use we remind you, the player, that:

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the Login Information, and you will be responsible for all uses of the Login Information, whether or not authorized by you. In the event that you become aware of or reasonably suspect any breach of security, including without limitation any loss, theft, or unauthorized disclosure of the Login Information, you must immediately notify Blizzard by emailing [email protected].

If you have a suggestion or any thoughts on how the Authenticators might be improved upon, then I am going to have to ask that you go through the proper channels and make such a suggestion on the Suggestions forum.
