Currently my payment history shows this...
7/5/09 N/A Free Month Pending
6/25/09 N/A 10 Day Referral Trial Active

with the free month being from using the auth key I got in my battlechest I just bought. I have a few questions..
1) I've read that it may take 72 hours to apply the auth key or something, does this mean that it has been applied? The main account management page shows 'Active This account is active and can be used for playing.' which I assume means that it has been.
2) If it is indeed active as it says, will it really give me a full 10 day trial as it shows?
3) If I do get the full trial, am I still technically a trial account even though it says active on the main account management page?
4) If I refer someone right now, will I get the free month from referring them?

Sorry if I skipped over these technicalities elsewhere or if the answer is slapping me in the face (especially on question 1-3), but every company does things like this differently and I want to make sure I'm understanding things correctly. Thank you.

If you upgrade your trial account using a retail authentication key, then all trial restrictions should be lifted immediately. However, upgrading an account via the Direct Online Upgrade feature can take up to 72 hours to process.

As we do not want to penalize someone for being eager to upgrade their trial account, the free 10 days that come with the trail are not removed if you decide to upgrade your account early on. Instead, the free 30 days that come with your upgrade to World of Warcraft are added on top of your remaining trial time.

Finally, if you were to refer someone else to World of Warcraft using the Recruit a Friend system, then you would be eligible to receive a free month once the person you have recruited has upgraded and purchased at least 1 month of paid subscription time.

I hope this answers all of your questions, Tukiko, but please let me know if there is anything else I may help you with.
