Support Ticket replies insulting /not helpful

Whatever happened to actual contact with a GM for in-game issues?

I have submitted in past two day 2 tickets for bugs that caused NO credit for quests or kills and in both; cases the stock answer was NOT HELPFUL and essentially blame it on some error on my part.

Reply regarding failure of Among the Champios" quest to give credit for defeating champios (happened twice to me so far)

After some research, it has been determined that the quest which you reported should be functioning properly. Game Masters are unable to provide hints regarding how to complete this quest. The following suggestions may be of assistance in your attempt to complete the quest:

1) Please read your quest log carefully and check the bank for any quest items.

2) Please check to see if you are in a Raid Group while trying to complete your quest. Unless a quest is designated as a "Raid" quest in your quest log, you will not receive quest items (or credit for quest-related kills) while in a raid group. This is part of intended functionality. To see if you are in a raid group, please click on the social button (default key: "O'). In the social window, the furthest tab on the right contains all raid information. If you are in a raid, then quest items will not drop, and quest kills will not count.

3) If you are running a third-party (custom) User Interface, please uninstall it and try to complete the quest again.

4) Please try abandoning and re-acquiring the quest.

This is unacceptable.. No i was not in a group. No, the quest could NOT be abandoned. And NO you can't blame GAME bugs on Mods. If there is a bug that causes the system to still think you are in a group when you have left the group, that is still a bug.

Petition: No Achievment Credit for killing Vyragosa--i have Screenshots. The kill was around 8;25-8;30 server time.

i have been waiting around Bor's Breath for rare spawn Vyragosa or the time lost proto drake. A few minutes ago Vyragosa appeared. I died the first time then flew back dead and rezzed found her again a few minutes later. This time she died.

i got No Achievement and NO DROPS My combat log is not clear either. No others were around. No one else could have tapped her.
it must be a bug.

Answer: Unfortunately, we were unable to verify that you had killed Vyragosa in our logs. The Game Master department cannot accept screen shots as proof, as we have our own methods of verifying in-game issues. As well, we are unable to grant achievements or credit towards achievements to players. We apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this issue may have caused you and wish you the best of luck on your next attempt.

We have received reports from other players of a similar issue occurring. As such, the information you have provided has been added to what we have in our system at this time. Thank you for bringing this to our attention."

i was camping out that area for a couple hours a day for 2 weeks to find these rare spawns. having it bug like that is annoying, but what is really annoying is the reply and no assistance or satisfaction --especially the "we do not accept screenshots" etc. Also contradictory replies assuming the player (me) must be to blame.

BTW after writing this post and trying to send it i was told I can;t post on this character, which is also absurd. and i had to write it again.

Hey there Varinia,

I've been reviewing the petitions that you've submitted and the situations surrounding them, and I have a few questions for you.

First, in regards to the Vyragosa kill, did you submit the petition very shortly after the kill was made?

And second, in regards to the issue with the quest, are you absolutely sure you were not in a raid group at the time? Did you participate in any raids the night before?

Hello again Varinia,

Just to be sure, are we clear as to what transpired with Vyragosa? As some players have mentioned, you were not the one that had the "tap" on Vyragosa, in-fact I was able to locate that kill and I show that someone else was the one that killed it. I'm afraid that you were not eligible for the kill, or the loot in that case.

In regards to the Argent Tournament dailies, which quest specifically are you having troubles with? The name (and faction you got it from) would be appreciated. =)

Vyragosa is killed by a third-party at: 2009/06/22 03:24:20 GMT.
Your petition was submitted at: 2009/06/22 03:32:26 GMT.
You mention the issue in General Chat (Storm Peaks) at: 2009/06/22 03:39:22 GMT.

And I'm still not clear on the issue that you're experiencing with that quest. Are you receiving an error message of some form? If so, could you provide me with the full error message? And when do you receive it?

To be quite honest, Varinia, the only reason I'm asking you questions is that the only thing I've found is the same things that the Game Masters that addressed your petition did.

I've found nothing wrong with what has been transpiring. However, should you feel that the Argent Tournament quest you've been attempting is experiencing an issue, please provide as much information as you can regarding the matter on our Bug Report forums so that our Quality Assurance team can investigate it.

I regards to the Vyragosa kill, I'm afraid that you were not eligible for the kill, loot or achievement.

I'm not sure why that would matter. You died. Your tap no longer counts.

Depends on the circumstances regarding the tap, but the tap will reset when the creature is out of combat.

I said they killed it, which implies that they had the tap.

Varinia, it wasn't a bug. Someone else killed it.
