Proposed BM/Pet changes in 3.2

From primarily a PvE point of view, there just doesn't seem to be anything offered to us, though you mentioned us being on your radar. Adding a cooldown reduction to Kill Command on a talent that we can't really sacrifice to pick up?

While you added to a few of the owner stats pets benefit from, hunter pets will see no benefit in that we do not collect expertise gear. Was it not going to be a bit more broad scaling? I also remain concerned about "super buffs" not passing along to the pet. Runes of Power & Storm Clouds boost a PC's damage significantly, but when a PC only accounts for ~56% of the damage, it's hard to keep up with the Jones...

I know you have a lot on your plate. I know we're not so far behind as to be a liability to non hardcore progression guilds. That said, if you're gonna take a look at us, which you said you were, I'd like to add my 2c.

My gut feeling tells me that trying to prop us up with a buff to our talents is not the way to go, increasing pet scaling is. Logically, if pets only receive a limited benefit from a select few meaningful dps stats, you're going to have to tinker talents for pet centered classes/specs every single upgrade in content. Giving pets meaningful scaling from the PC's dps stats and buffs seems to be the best way to go, even if it means nerfing us at the talent level.

We would still like to improve pet scaling for things like haste, armor pen and really just about everything. Resilience and spell pen were the two that seemed the most important so we tackled them first. The way this data is handled in WoW is a little complicated (you've got something that isn't a player being affected by player spells, as well as having spells of its own) so the changes aren't trivial. We'll try to get to as many as we can for 3.2.
