Questions (Sorry if this has been asked before, but did not find answers doing a search):

I dug up my Warcraft 3 CDs to find out what account information I had on them. Now, after recreating that a Warcraft 3 account, do I log into the Battle.net website with that, or do I need to create an entirely new Battle.net account? If I can tie it, will my Warcraft 3 battle.net ID and my merged Battle.net/WoW account be the same (for logging in)? Will having my Warcraft 3 key tied to my new merged account keep that account from being deleted as inactive as I have an active WoW account attached?

And what exactly do I need to do to get a Battle Bot? I'm not clear if I need to be stocking up on sodas for codes or some such.

Thank you.

Q u o t e:

As far as I had been told in the past, if you have a WC3 or a D2 Battle.net account, those are different from the new Battle.net account that merges with your WoW account. (You can, however, register your CD keys for both WC3 and D2 on the new Battle.net account. You still use the old info to log in for them when you play, but registering stores your keys and allows you to then download copies of the games.)

Your inactive accounts on things like WC3 and D2 still, to my knowledge, follow the same rules as before when it comes to inactivity. (Although when I was off of them for a few months, it looks like only my D2 account was deleted.)

For the Battle Bot, all you need to do once you have merged your WoW account with the new Battle.net account is go to the Mountain Dew Game Fuel website (http://www.mountaindewgamefuel.com) and look for the button that says "The Battle-bot pet: Claim now and fuel up". That will take you to the sign-in for your Battle.net account and, when you sign in, you can claim the battle bot.

For fuel, it is the same procedure, but you can only claim one item a day and once you have made the claim, you need to log into your WoW account to receive the item in the mail. (If you make a claim for fuel and do not log in on a character by the end of the day, it does not appear in the mail, so make sure to log on to the character(s) where you want the items.)

Good luck and have fun. :)

This is entirely correct.

Great job, Aron. :)
