The account information has to be the same, like you would if they were normal accounts. Using an alias or false names to create different accounts has been known to cause transfers to fail.

You can transfer from a lower version of the game to a higher but not the other way around. So if your alt that is on an account that has Burning Crusade it should be able to transfer to an account that has Wrath of the Lich King.

In order to transfer between Battle.net accounts though, Bruttal, both accounts must be registered to the same user.

It is important to note that we require factual information when creating an account and that it is actually a violation of the agreement if you provide false information.

With that said, please contact our Billing Department, if the name is only slightly different they may be able to assist you.

You can call 1 (800) 592 5499 (1-800-59-BLIZZARD) Monday through Friday 8AM-8PM (PDT) for live representation.
Australian users should please call 1-800-041-378 if the standard 800 line does not work.

Good luck.
