So it's to my understanding that shadow priest as of this moment are getting that super huge fix that we have all been qqing about. No? Wait your seemingly telling me that we are not? My eyes deceive me!
Cause i clearly read that they are giving our dots a buff by putting resilience in our favor. And they are making it so we can actually defend our self against competent melee players!

As much as i would like to believe this was to be true; it's not. Our class is fine if we want to be a healer. But that's not what i am trying to discuss in this forum. So don't give me that "respec disc for pvp".

Anyways, i have come to the harsh but steady truth that the spec of shadow in the priest talents is not a easy fix; and that it regrettably is in need of a complete revamp. I try and read the forums as much as i can without rotting my brain. And i come to read a lot of good ideas from a lot of very intelligent and concerned people. Unfortunately it is these readings that bother me the most. Because they are the complete and utter truth. The spec of shadow is completely out of tune. I do not intend to project myself as a perfect shadow priest. but merely a very concerned one.

The shadow spec is barely represented in pvp... but i think there are enough post trying to fix shadow priest pvp that i don't need to go in depth.
A link the other day i read was showing me that, Equal gear, played right, shadow pve is 8th on dps. to other dps classes.

I have had this priest since early vanilla, and its just 'lame' if you will; to see this spec go down the drain. I'm sure one day we will get our comeuppance. but until that day, Lack of pvp ability and the always passing of other classes in dps. I'm sure you will begin to see less and less of shadow priest. Guess no more misery for you !#%%s!

No matter how good the information or how bad the QQ. This isn't to say that they aren't looking at posts. I dug thru 7 pages of forum posts, there isn't a single blue post in there. Locked, banned, deleted posts abound, but zero blue's. It seems when we do get blues to post its about " Quit bumping threads "

Do not fish for blue threads. Do not bump threads. Every time you say: "We don't care, we're just going to do it anyway," you're going to get that response.

It appears the majority of the Sp community's patience has run out.

Post your points. If you have made your points, then stop posting. It is really as simple as that. All of this "We are going to post until we get answers" is [rimshot] point-less. You're just wasting your time and that of other players who come to read the forums.

Does this mean the shadow priests on this forum are wasting their time? I don't understand how all our points, all our numbers, and all our logic is being torn down to a simple "your QQing".

That's not at all what it means. The points, the numbers and all the logic are quite valuable to us. Just please keep it at that level and don't then jump into a thread and say "But we posted all that stuff and they won't respond! Clearly they hate us! The Shadow priest is doomed!"

I understand you are disappointed when I must make a response that isn't actually on classes or mechanics at all. But I have to take a longer view here. Eventually someone here at Blizzard is going to say "You know, having blues post is a lot more disruptive than just letting players talk amongst themselves." And then I will be sad and I imagine you might be too. There was a reason that there was a silent blue wall for so long. :(

So I ask you, please, don't keep talking about Blizzard. Talk about your class. If your post contains words like "bump for response," or "I can't believe they won't post here," or "why won't you answer us?" then you are not talking about Shadow priests. You are talking about Blizzard developers. That is the kind of thing that is going to get what little discussion we have going killed. Understand?

If you don't want moderation-y responses, don't post things that need to be moderated. I've seen the community do a good job of ignoring or shouting down people who are not contributing, but we've got 6 pages now of not contributing to the conversation. Is that the conversation you want to have?
