10 Day Trail Removal.

Recently my friend decided to try the recruit a friend program and we have hit a snag.

We have the account set up for him, and we have upgraded it to Burning Crusade. We have not set up a subscription plan. Once we set up the account, we had the 10 Day free trail from the E-Mail sent by our other friend. We then upgraded to the classic version for $19.99 and then up to the BC version for $29.99. After we completed the upgrades, we went to the account management page. On the lower part of the screen, its shows your Billing Information. It says that I have my 10 Day Free Trial "Active" and my Upgrade to Standard Account (30 Days Free, due to Blizzards upgrade policy) is "Pending". Again, we have not used a Credit Card for a subscription because he bought a TimeCard which he will use after his Free 30 Days.

Now the snag...

In order to get the Recruit-A-Friend 3x Exp/Summons/Etc...you have to remove the 10 Day Trial and make the Standard Account upgrade "Active".

How do we do this? We grouped with a member from the linked accounts and we can right click the characters image tray and view "Grant A Level" and "Summon" but when we try to chat/whisper, a red warning comes up saying that Trial members can't do this.

Anybody have the steps to what we must do next or just a straight answer on how to get the 10 Day Free Trail from the E-Mail removed?

Q u o t e:
So basically we just need to wait a few days at the max before the trial limitations will be removed?

Yes, the trial restrictions should be removed within 72 hours, Gorgix . This is simply a part of our verification process and he will receive an email when the upgrade is successful.

Q u o t e:
i keep hearing that the leveling restriction will be removed immidiately after purchasing the online upgrade... its been 4 days seince i bought it and i still cant level past 20

Are you posting from the account in question, Joeykool? If so, I do not show this account as being upgraded, hence why you cannot level past 20. If you are referring to another account, please provide me a character name and realm on the account in question and I will gladly look into this for you.

I do not show the account you are posting from upgraded. Is it possible you inadvertently upgraded another account?

Q u o t e:
.. and if u buy it with the box u can level and talk right after you put the code in right?

This is correct. When you upgrade the account, please make sure you are not logged into the game when doing so as this may delay the upgrade from taking effect.
