Neutral Auction House

Is there now a restriction for transferring money from one faction to another via the neutral auction house?

I rolled an alliance toon on this server a couple days ago, and am really enjoying it, so I was gonna take money from my main (horde) to my new toon. Problem is, when I try to purchase the auction that my alliance toon set up, it says you cannot bid on your own auctions. Is this a new change that I am unaware of? Thank you.

Transfers through the AH will not get anyone banned.

You may very well get heisted, and we would not be able to assist with that, it's an unsupported transaction, but it won't get you banned.
