However, since this has been happening to Retaliation all month long (this is the 5th time) I would hope we could expect:

1. Real, non-cut-and-paste answers as to what has happened/is happening (FYI: this is not a comment directed at you, nor do I blame the CM's for what they are allowed to share -- the people that tell them what they can share is who this particular comment is directed at).

2. A true apology from a Blizz VP (or higher) for the frequent and long interruptions to our play time, since this has now become chronic for our entire battle group

3. Some sort of token of apology in the form of in-game perks or refunded time or something

4. A promise that the problem will be or now has been solved and should not happen again for the forseeable future, else a promise that new equipment/tech's (or both) will be brought in to replace the bad equipment or utterly inept tech's that keep letting this happen.

Unfortunately, for various reasons, much of what I'm going to say on this subject is not going to be particularly new or interesting. However, you have my assurance that we are at DefCon 1 here our teams have scrambled and we are now working diligently to prevent this from happening. We have, in the past, been attempting to prevent this situation. Unfortunately, it appears our efforts were not the permanent fix we had thought they would be.

We have begun the process of bringing the realms live. We anticipate that this process will take approximately 1 hour to complete.

All of the affected realms should now be live. Once again, we apologize for the interruption in service and thank you for the patience and understanding demonstraited throughout this thread.

Live doesn't mean they're online does it? Haha cuz I just tried logging in again and well...up popped the server list with a recommendation of PvP servers when I always check the "normal" box...

Hm, I just checked Dawnbringer, the realm appears to be up and running. Try logging in again and let me know if you're still unable to find, or log into the realm.

I was able to log into Burning Blade,and Shattered Halls. They both appear to be up and playable. Ghostlands was down, but I am now able log into the realm. It seems playable now too. I imagine, there was simply so much traffic from players logging in that the realm was temporarily overwhelmed.


That said; we have alerted the team responsible for stability and they are keeping a close eye on these realms.

Hm, this seems to be the case with several realms. We will continue to keep an eye on this situation and work with the team until it is resolved.

We have our Database Administrators and our stability team working on the issue now. Unfortunately, we don't have an ETA to give you, at this time. I will continue to update the tread as I receive more information.

My char is stuck. I wanted to join a BG and then, it just got stuck on the loading screen. I exited, and re-logged... and same thing.

Create a thread in the Customer Service Forums detailing your problem. That team will be able to help you with that particular in-game issue.

Make sure to include the name of your stuck character and the realm.

Arena Tournament realms are having the same issues... is it related to this or not?

Yes. The Arena Tournament realm seems to be related to the issue effecting these realms.

It appears our Database Administrator was able to find a solution to the stability issue. These realms should now be much more stable and playable. Please, continue to post any outage or disconnect, if one should occur. Thank you for your patience, while we worked to resolve this situation.
