The numbers dont lie

SK gaming website provides rankings based on spec. This is basically just a compilation of blizzards armory site rankings, except those only work per battlegroup.

Choosing the options 3v3 bracket and US Region; searching for the comp Feral / Anyclass / Anyclass there are zero, nada, zilch teams. Hmm seems odd, how about we widen US Region to World to include Euro and the Asian regions? Still zero nada zilch.

Doing the same with 5v5 bracket, and unsurprisingly enough - exactly the same results. Sure, there are some feasible 2v2 comps - most notably feral/priest and feral/pally. There's around 50 2v2 teams with a feral in total, and of those some appear to be partnered with a deathknight so are more likely to be resto.

I've started grinding some resto gear and am hating it. On my horde druid, before i swapped to alliance, I've been feral since 2.0 when mangle was added. I was hoping to always be feral, I keep hanging on to my slim chances, hoping something will be improved in the following patch.

TLDR:

Please Blizzard, may I play feral (my main spec) in arena without being told to respec or reroll or gtfo?

Q u o t e:
GC stated they only want the highest hybrid to be at 12% representation.

I don't recall ever saying that. I think I did say that hybrids may have high Arena representation because they can fill multiple roles.

Also be careful not to over-interpret the SK numbers. They are valuable for sure but they represent only 100 players out of several million. That's not to say Feral and other specs couldn't be higher, but I'm not sure you will ever see 10 of each class in the top 100, and even if you do, it is even less likely that 3.33 of those will be Feral.

It is a priority to get under-represented specs to higher representation in Arenas. However, it is a higher priority to get under-represented classes up there. I'm sure you can understand why.

Also, while it isn't necessarily our vision for the PvP game, understand that many high-end players would be happier with a balanced experience with very few viable specs than an unbalanced experience with a whole lot of specs, and much of their feedback is given with this philosophy in mind. Obviously balanced and diverse is the ultimate goal.
