Trial account restrictions on too long?

Hi, this is my second account that I am using to help a friend level via RAF. Last night I upgraded it to a full account, which had to be done over the phone after some issues with the webform, but I am disapointed to see that my trial account restrictions are still in place. I can't talk in channels, trade, access mail, or level past level 20. (I just turned in quests that almost got my friend to 21 but my exp bar didn't budge after I dinged)

Anyone know long until it takes until I can continue leveling? The web account management page says that I am a full account, and has since last night.

While some trial restrictions are still in place, you should be able to level past 20.

Could you try closing out the game and relaunching it for me, Reyden? Once it is relaunched, please create a new character to log in with. From there, log out and return to your main character and see if you can gain experience.

The system should recognize the Electronic Upgrade and allow you to continue gaining experience, but if not, please let me know so this can be looked into further.

I just created a new character and logged it off as you requested. I then re-logged Reyden and killed a level 17 mob, I got no experience from this kill.

Could you try closing out the game client and re-opening it via the Launcher.exe, Reyden?

I am going to look into your account a little bit further, Reyden. Everything does appear to be in order so it is possible there is just a delay with the game recognizing your upgrade.

I would recommend periodically attempting to restart the game and going for an experience gain but I will reply once I am able to gather more information on this issue for you.

The pending payment will not have an effect, it is just noting when the free time for the free month and such begins :)

I do however want to try something else with you, if possible, Reyden. You are currently linked up with Battle.net. I would like to remove you from Battle.net and have you log in with your old information to see if that will refresh the system as to your full account status, then put you back on the Battle.net if it was a success.

Are you alright with trying this?

Certaintly, if you think it might help.

Alrighty, the account has been temporarily unlinked. Could you please try starting the client using the Launcher.exe and log in to see if you can gain experience?

That worked like a charm, I was able to get experience from a mob kill. I feel like I have killed enough crabs to have leveled by now, it's good to have the issue resolved. Should I re-merge with the battle.net account or would that cause problems?

Already re-linked... I am ninja!

The Battle.net account itself was not causing the issue, there just seemed to be a lack of communication with the system and your World of Warcraft account. Bouncing it around a bit resolved it though and I am glad you are gaining experience!

I do apologize for the inconvenience you ran into with this Electronic Upgrade. It was an odd issue and I have learned more today myself on how to better help people... any day you learn something is a good day ^____^
