Hey.
None of the Fire Festival quests have reset for me this year so I am unable to do any of the "Honor the Flame" quests at the fires around Azeroth.

This is like the only way to get the Burning Blossom's (except for the dailies) needed to buy the gear for the achievements and now I cant do them.

Also unable to do any of the Ahune quests.
Is it possible to have them reset or something?

Are there simply no quests available to you at this time? Or does it seem as though only select quests are missing? If the latter, can you list the names of those which you are unable to pick up this year?

Thanks for any information you are able to provide; I deeply appreciate it. :)

Let's keep this thread as constructive and on-topic as possible, folks. Should there be an issue ongoing, the information I've requested will greatly help. :)

Its been a long time since we've had a response. Perhaps just some reassurance this is being looked at?

This matter has been under review since I first forwarded on Ducttape's information yesterday afternoon (thank you again for the confirmation!). Unfortunately, I do not possess any further news at this point in time beyond the assurance that this is receiving the proper attention. As promised previously, though, should I receive any updates or inklings of information, I will relay them on to you all post haste.

In the meantime, thank you to those who have contributed constructively within this thread. While it is not necessary that you continue to post whether or not you are able to pick up specific quests, you are absolutely welcome to do so should it bring you some peace of mind (or should you encounter some sort of related quirk during your Midsummer adventures). :)

You forgot the zombie exception.

"Peace of mind" before "piece of mind," except if you're a zombie.

Q u o t e:
Greetings!

While the Midsummer Fire Festival event has begun, we wanted to take some time to explain that there are some currently known issues with the Festival, and to let the community know that we are working on resolving them.

The first issue, and what seems to be the most prevalent reported issue, is regarding gaining Fire Blossoms from fire quests that were completed last year. This affects the Honor the Fires and Desecrate the Fires quests, as they appear to have not reset from last year. We understand the concerns many players have about being able to obtain enough blossoms for this year to buy what they wish, and we are actively working on the issue.

Second, there have been many reports that the quest “Unusual Activity” has not reset from last year. This is being investigated by development.

In addition, we have had many players report that Crown of the Fire Festival from last year is not granting achievement credit for King of the Fire Festival. This appears to be a result of the quest not having been completed while the achievement system was live (as last Midsummer was before the achievement system was implemented). If it were to grant retroactive achievement for King of the Fire Festival, it would have been granted upon launch of the achievement system.

While we do apologize for any frustration, we want to actively assure the community that we are working on resolving these issues, and any others that may appear. We will update this post with information as we get it.
