Flight Master in Dalaran issue

I know Feathermoon can't be the only server having this issue...

My latancy is spiking up horribly in the flight area tonight (about 3 to 4 times what it is just anywhere else in Dalaran) because we have people that think it's funny to sit their mammoths ontop of the flight master. The biggest issue with this is that Dalaran is our current "hub" city and the amount of slow-down in traffic can cause hell for everyone.

Worse, this has been going on for some time. Serveral characters in the same guild ( possibly the same person for some of these characters) have done this, and apparently reporting them to our GMs has done nothing.

I know, shift + v or ctrl + v and I can use the flight master. Not everyone knows this though and there is still going to be a backup of traffic regardless.

Can a blue confirm that willfully trying to prevent the use of an NPC is against ToU or some set of rules at the very least?

Hope this is the right forum for posting this, if not just direct me to the proper place.

The above posts are absolutely correct, Zared. This sort of action can be considered Zone/Area Disruption, which is a category that includes language and/or actions intended to disturb groups of players or areas of the world.

Including: Impeding or blocking access to an NPC, doodad, doorway, or any other area of the world that a player would normally be able to access

Now, I we are not able to go into detail of what actions may be taken on someone else’s account, but do keep in mind that we have a Penalty Volcano: (http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&articleId=20221) that players generally have to slowly climb. The longer these players continue to participate in this sort of action, the higher they will climb… the more noticeable it will become.
