"A character with that name already exists"

Whenever I log into specifically this character, the loading screen finishes, then it pops me back to the character screen with the message "A character with that name already exists" This does not happen with any other of my characters.

No need to worry, Softcore . This issue is actually fairly minor. :)

Basically, what happened is that, while your account disconnected from your realm correctly, your character did not. And so it remains online at this time, all alone and clueless.

Your character, though, will disconnect on its own in about 5 to 10 minutes. You're welcome to try to log onto an alt in the meantime, or take a quick snack break. Up to you!
