Ive been listening for about 3 years i think? and it seems like alot of the previously discussed things over the years have been put in the game.... now some really good ideas have been coming out and i was wondering if the blues are listening to him.

So... Do the devs listen to the wowradio show "Blue Plz"?

We listen to quite a few podcasts. It's nice to hear what people are talking about, thinking about, and doing in regard to their playstyles, humor and more in regard to World of Warcraft. I have some that I listen to regularly as I work just to keep tabs on how information is being received or if there are things we need to clarify. Of course, I'm also constantly finding sites and blogs to read as well.

So what are some of your favorite wow podcasts?

I'm going to refrain from listing favorites, but I've listened to Blue Please, Casually Hardcore (Pretty much all the WoW Radio shows I can), The Instance, How I WoW, I just started giving a listen to Rawrcast to see what they are doing and others when I have time.

are you required to as part of your job or are you going above and beyond?

Define above and beyond. I honestly wouldn't know what that is since, my job as a community manager doesn't have specific "start work here- end work here" boundaries. Whether people believe it or not, we're always looking for new ways to support the community and of course the company. I love what I do, where I work, and even (as shocking as this may be to people) our community we have.

So it's more or less, Public Relations?

We're in a sort of in between spot in this regard. We aren't quite public relations in the way people define it, but we obviously are a part of it to a degree and our roles have some crossover. It's not as easy to define as that, though I know many people perceive us that way. :) I'd have to write a book to truly explain it all.

Great, please send me a copy...you have the address. ;-)

Hey now, I said I COULD write a book. It doesn't mean I am or should at this point in time. :)
