Avoid ".exe" ingame links

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

Just letting everyone know, on my realm, there's an ingame chain mail going around linking a website where you can see "Cool Guild Videos", something along those lines.

This website ends in: .exe

My brother's account was compromised twice after visiting this site, once after a deep virus scan, and several people he knows who also went to this site now have compromised accounts.

I'm not technically savy in any respect, but I'm more than positive this has something to do with it.

I won't link the site, because I don't want anyone to actually go to it. Just know, if you get an ingame mail linking that site "...com/org.exe", avoid it at all costs, and realize whomever sent you that letter is probably dealing with some account issues.

Should you receive an in-game mail containing one of these links, please be sure to click the "Report Spam" button on the mail window. This will bring the player to the attention of the Game Master staff who will then take appropriate action to ensure this activity ceases as quickly as possible.
