Multi Boxing = Botting?

Ok we are having some issues in our guild with people who 2-5 box the game. We are not sure how to handle this whether it is a TOS or ethical issue. We have no problem with people playing more than one account but here lately they are playing them all at the same time. Just last night we had a guy play 5 alts at the same time. When asked about it he stated he had 5 accounts. Now i am not sure what he gets from this or what he intends on doing but it would be nice to know Bliz stance on such issues as i can not find anything related to this thru all there policies.

We tend to guild kick anyone found breaking the TOS, but this is a gray area here as some say this is botting and some do not. What does one get out of playing multiple accounts at the same time?

It would be nice for some help from a CM on this issue so i can take it back to my guild and make our decision. We hate to kick someone for the false reasons.

Thank you

Q u o t e:
[W]e do not stop players from owning and playing multiple accounts. What you want to avoid when playing both accounts is using any third party programs to automate game play in an effort to have the characters on the account playing the World of Warcraft without your presence. There are all manner of ways to use two accounts that are not outside of our in-game policies and legal documents (Terms of Use and End User License Agreement, http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/legal/), and as long as you steer clear of behavior that could be considered exploitive (Exploitation Policy: http://www.blizzard.com/support/wowgm/?id=agm01716p) you should be A-Okay. ;)
