Hey, today I made a mistake by changing the resolution of the game that my monitor/graphics card couldn't handle, and my screen just went black. I alt+f4ed out and everytime i try to start up the game it just goes black again. So I went into the WoW folder and I use Vista, I didn't see a WTF folder, only the cache. I deleted the cache and it didnt help. I'm not sure what to do. Thanks.

Futuristic,

Please try manually adjusting the resolution for the game by editing the config.wtf file. Please see the instructions below:

1. Open the World of Warcraft folder on your hard drive (Default Folder: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft).
2. Open the WTF folder.
3. Open the Config.wtf file using a text editor, like WordPad.

Locate the lines:

SET gxResolution "800x600"
SET gxRefresh "60"

and enter the resolution and refresh rates into these lines. Now save the file and try launching the game again.
