What is being planned for engineering?

With engineer morale at an all time low, and further nerfs on the table, engineers deserve to know what is being planned to fix our profession.

It has been almost a month since the last nerf to engineering, and almost a month since being told that good things were on the way.

So what's going to happen?

Well, we've gotten our answer. 3.2 patch notes are out including engineering changes.

A little bit.... underwhelming, imo.
Tinker buffs (an undisclosed amount. Might be good but we'll see how this turns out)
A few changes to existing items (MOLL-E cooldown is smaller, Injectors heal us more which is kind of cool but totally random, teleporters are more convenient now but no new ones in sight, bombs do more siege damage but still no clue as to how much or if it will be worthwhile even after buffs, and old Dragonlings+Alarm-O-Bot are cheaper / better which makes no sense and is unhelpful for max engineers),
One new schematic. One, yay. To repair mechanicals. An upgraded repair kit.

So what's going to happen?

We don't have any plans to share with you at the moment.

So, uh... when we were told good things were coming... was that a lie? Or is it sort of a "Well, your birthday is coming up, and well, you might at least get socks. Yay! Socks!"

Come on.....

It's not a lie, it's just not something we can talk about, just yet.

Well, I don't want to brag, but I have some "Marvin the Martian" socks.

But I digress.

What is the point of telling us good things are coming, when a month later you can't even share any plans for what those good things are? I mean, for chrissakes, you could say "Titansteel dragonling" (that's just an example, but really, if it took the devs longer then a half-hour to code up a new dragonling, they're doing something wrong), and we'd be happy.

But saying that you don't have any plans to share?

I mean, really, it sounds like you don't actually have any plans whatsoever.

One month isn't a very long time from a development stand point. Patience and time are required for any change we make. I know that's not popular and most people want everything now, but in this case, you're all going to have to wait a bit longer.
