Oh sweet horde get a dragon hawk that originally could only be obtained via 100 mount achievement, and alliance gets ANOTHER CRAPPY HIPPOGRYPH. So horde gets an easy dragonhawk and we get screwed with a ugly hippogryph that probably has the same terrible animations, that both factions can already get? Im not seeing how this makes any sense in fairness. First the brewfest kodo change and now this?

The Horde can earn a flying mount that represents the Horde. The Alliance can earn a flying mount that represents the Alliance.

If an imbalance exists somewhere, it's not in these simple facts.

If you dont care about the mount balances why did you open this thread and start posting in it? Gtfo your wasting my time.

If you expect anyone to read, care about, and consider your opinion, you should probably be prepared to hear what others think about it.

You used words like "screwed" and "crappy" in your post, as well as words in all capital letters to make your point, so you're not likely to attract constructive, warm and fuzzy retorts.

Because the horde only has hawkstriders right?

No, and I'm proud you've pointed out that I didn't make such a claim.

Getting 100 mounts is painfull enough, change the reward to frostwyrm or something.

No, but thanks for the feedback. :)

the imbalance is paladins getting another class specific mount.

You make it sound like we're giving away for free a new mount only to paladins at the Argent Tournament. There are new obtainable ground and flying mounts for everyone from the Argent Tournament grounds. One of these happens to be a reward only paladins can access.

Even if you dont care about or consider my opinions at least give me an answer on how hippogryphs represent the alliance even though they are sold by a neutral faction.

They are creatures that have been allied with night elves for a very long time. Night elf Sentinels protect hippogryph eggs and young; and likewise, the hippogryphs watch over young night elves. They're known to speak Darnassian as their primary language. When it comes to flight paths, they serve as the primary means of transport between cities or towns populated mostly by night elves.

Their alliance extends to the Cenarion Expedition, so any players who prove their worth to the Cenarion cause can earn the ability to fly a hippogryph, regardless of whether or not they are a member of the Horde or Alliance.

I have a feeling your question wasn't asked to truly try and understand why the Alliance are getting a new hippogryph as a flying mount, but rather meant as a means to continue to incite argumentation and vent frustration, knowing that you're not going to be flying on the back of Illidan by the time this thread ends.

1) The new dragonhawk is a not-very-different colour of one that is only obtainable by a fairly hard achievement that very few people have. This will upset everyone who has, or is close to, this achievement.

The Sunreaver dragonhawk is a completely new skin, not just a recolor. It will be easily distinguishable from the 100 mount achievement reward.
