Account Transfer - DK level restrictions?

I quit playing WoW for a little while and was letting my daughter (a minor child living with me) play my account. She made a Death Knight and is quite taken with it. That's all well and good but I am getting the itch to play again. I have another account from back in the day but it does not have a level 55 character on it. Can I transfer the Death Knight to that account once I upgrade it to WoTLK? Or would I have to transfer a level 55+ over there first and pay the character transfer twice?

Q u o t e:
Once created, a Death Knight is treated like any other character in regards to transfers. As long as the Death Knight is level 60 or higher, they can be transferred to another account regardless if it has a level 55 or higher character on it. =)

There you have it. :)

Once the Death Knight reaches level 60 it is treated like any other character when it comes to transfer restrictions. As long as the other account is upgraded to Wrath of the Lich King and both accounts meet the requirements to transfer between them, you shouldn't have any issues.
