Un-ban me?

So i woke up this morning, (well, it was afternoon by the time i woke up), signed into wow, and alas! Was unable to login! Why not? Well i received the message:

Q u o t e:
This World of Warcraft account has been closed and is no longer available for use. Please go to [http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/misc/banned.html] for further information.

uh...?

So, i checked my email, and found this in my inbox:
Q u o t e:
****Notice of Account Closure****

Account Name: >>xxxxxxxx<<

Account Action: Closure
Reason for Action: Terms of Use Violation - Economy Exploitation

After a thorough investigation, we have found that a player of the account listed above participated in activities designed to gain an unfair advantage in the World of Warcraft economy.

uh...?

Between all my characters, (including my 80 main and toons on ALL realms), if i pool all my gold together i would barely have enough to buy Epic Flying for one of my alts (5000g).
I have never had enough gold to buy anything cool, never had a Mammoth or fancy Kirin Tor Ring.
How have i disrupted the economy?

I have never received any Warnings of any kind. Neither was i suspended... i was hit with an all-out ban.
I have never purchased gold. I have never used any power-leveling services.
I have had this account for approx 2 years now, have never had any issues of this kind.

My recent Auctions consist of Health Pots i crafted from my alchemy. Nothing unusual.

So why, oh why, was my account banned?
and not merely banned, but totally CLOSED?!

I have no economic advantage over anyone on the server, compared to other level 80's, I'm poor!

Please put an end to this injustice! I missed a guild 25-man Naxx raid tonight :(
Think of all that awesome loot I'm missing out on.

Please Blizzard, Help me!

(Belsam (80 Nelf Druid) of Caelestrasz) - for GM reference.

(Note: I have sent an email to WoWAccountAdmin@blizzard.com, however, after waiting for 12 hours with no response... Its not acceptable)

One common misconception is that if a person gets comrpromised the thieves break in right away. While that is often true, it isn't always. If you've EVER found a piece of malware on a system, even if your account seems untouched - it's best to change ALL passwords once you know it's clean.

Many players are now finding out that they've been compromised when their WoW account is merged into a Battle.net account not their own. Although their actual account may never have been touched - someone had their password and ID to be able to do that.

Appealing the closure will require emailing our Account Administration department at wowaccountadmin@blizzard.com and asking they review this.

I do wish you all the very best.

We do try to get to these just as quickly as possible, Chloë.

I'm very glad to see this worked out for you, and I am very sorry for any inconvenience to you or your guild.

I do believe this has been resolved and really nothing to be gained by taking this further.
