Feral MAIM gloves change. No because:

Hi GC and co,

It seems you are going to re-do the feral Gloves bonus so it reflects the season 4 bonus (maim also intrupts and locks out school).

PROBLEM: The current bonus of 15less energy will be lost which will reduce the number of attacks a feral can put down in a Pounce > Maim combo by 1 attack which is damage and also vital debuffs and doubly vital 1 - 2 combo points aka 1-2 more seconds CC time on maim.

- Seriously reduces our control which impacts so much from synergy to debuff setups to survivability (kitty is as squishy as a rouge wit no evasion and cheat death cd's. It's why the number 1 strat used by good arena teams in 2v2 bracket is to tunnel the kitty)
- Hurts our damage alot
- Makes us even more clunky (this is the most frustrating thing about playing any class imo - clunkynes)


GENERAL INFO: Losing the 15 energy reduction to maim is a massive nerf! Please go try a good pounce > Maim combo on the test dummies using a few different rotations, record the CC time and the damage output and debuff setup. Do this with current pvp feral gloves and then with out.

With out that 15energy reduction you lose a debuff application, or you can allow the pounce to wear off before you have enough energy to maim. Or you can get through to the maim but with 1-2 less seconds less stun duration, less time to stack cp's and debuffs for the following rip. Also! not only are they stunned for less duration, you have less energy to spam cp's even when they come out of stun.

This makes us even more clunky! I can imagine pounce > maim will actually be given up as a rotation, with feral being forced to ignore the maim in the case of Melee classes and get those 5cp's and debuffs upfor the rip while eating blocks/parries/dodges and DAMAGE we didn't normally take.

But we take too much damage this way putting extra pressure on our healers from the get go. CC's, debuffs, MS's etc are all applied to the feral sooner than they should be thanks to this potential nerf :(


SOLUTION: Reduce the base line energy cost of maim so it is 15 less energy. This will make:
- room for you to implement the change to feral pvp glove bonus with out incedently nerfing the spec harshly.
- Encourages the use of pvp gear for pvp
- Allow you remove the interupt from MAIM on players as a base line tallent as intended
- And here's the real perk for you dev's: will make maim more viable for kitties in raids. Because honestly it is way too expensive in terms of costing CP's and a chunk of energy for a kitty to use on a boss.

You realize we have a huge design team right? I don't make all these changes, or even the decisions, by myself.

But yes, we are changing the older glove bonus to the new bonus. You should have -15 energy for Maim on all your PvP gloves.
