We're on it guys.

We're truly sorry for any interruption, but we're aware of the issues currently occurring on the Retaliation battlegroup and currently working to resolve them.

For those unfamiliar with the battlegroup, it is composed of the following realms:

Area 52
Auchindoun
Azuremyst
Blade's Edge
Blood Furnace
Coilfang
Dawnbringer
Exodar
Fizzcrank
Galakrond
Ghostlands
Grizzly Hills
Shattered Halls

I've looked into it, and no ETA is available regarding when the situation on Retaliation will be resolved.

I am not a realm technician, however, and my job is to moderate this forum. I assure you that my activities here have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with your realm becoming available.

I know it can seem that way, but this is a pretty recent issue.

I know that this is really frustrating, and that you guys just want to play. I can completely empathize, but unfortunately, sometimes unexpected issues occur, and we simply have to resolve those issues as fast as we can when they do.

We'll get things up and running as quickly as we can, and I thank you guys for your patience in the meantime.

The greater issue is that there's a level of downtime that is considered acceptable in IT, and we haven't really passed that yet.


Not an unreasonable perspective at all.

It's important to keep in mind that the challenges that our realms face require the attention of top-level, world class personnel.

These guys are miracle workers, though I'm sorry that it can be hard to see that from the outside sometimes.

I would never blame you for getting upset when your game time is interrupted, Selené. I'm a gamer too, I know the feeling, and I understand all too well the frustration that you are feeling right now. However, when I specifically ask to refrain from certain actions, and them have to spend my time cleaning up your posting (if we are generalizing here) I cannot be expected to do anything to further the circulation of information.

Now, I know that the Breaking News said that we would have an update for you at 7:30PM PDT. That being the case, I am doing all I can to get an update for you guys. At this time, though, we do not have another update, other than we are still working on the issue.

Please understand, Cattu, that my first priority and task assigned, is to keep this forum clean. I am here to help and post on topics of in-game issues; the same that a Game Master would if you submitted an in-game petition. I am not a Realm Technician, and there is very little I am actually able to do in situations like this, except perhaps to pass along information when it is made available to me. I am still required, however, to operate and successfully complete my main directive, which is keeping posts within the Forum Code of Conduct.
