Are you each meeting the following requisities, Pryabankalt?

Rule 1) Veteran and recruit character must partied and within 100 yards of one another
Rule 2) Mobs killed and quests completed must be marked neither "Low Level" nor gray in difficulty for either the veteran or the recruit character
Rule 3) Should one character be more than 4 levels higher than the other, only the lower level character will receive the experience boost. Rule 2 still applies.

Few more questions for you, Pryabankalt:

    1) What's the name and realm of your character and your friend's?
    2) What's the name of the mobs you are killing?

Thanks!

If you're able, Prya, can you kill a mob with your receuit and then paste or type out what your Combat Log entry says?

And just making sure: None of the mobs you are killing are showing up as gray in difficulty to you, corect? The little bubble that shows the mob's level is colored orange, yellow, or green?

It's important to remember that, while partied, a mob's total experience value is split between all party members. So, if a mob is normally worth 100 experience, you'd only receive 150 experience in total while partied with an RAF partner (100/2 * 3).

The effect of triple experience can be really be felt at later levels, though, and during quest turn ins. :)
