DPS Records breakdown by class.

The following is a count of the top 20 DPS records for every fight and hard mode (excluding Algalon normal/hard, and Yogg-Sarron Hard Mode). There are 360 records in total.

DKs (who are supposedly a hybrid class) currently:
Hold 5 number 1 DPS records on 25 man Hard Mode Ulduar Bosses
-Freya
>Two DK's are at the top by 8 and 400 DPS respectively.

-Thorim
>Two DK's are at the top by 200 and 700 DPS respectively.

-Kologarn
>Beat out 1 pure DPS class by 600 DPS, third place was another DK.

-Ignis
>Beat out 3 pure DPS classes by 900 DPS or more.

-Razorscale
>Beat out a pure DPS classes by 700 DPS or more, third place was another DK.


Hold 1 number 1 DPS record on 25 man Hard Mode Ulduar Bosses
-Freya
>Beat out 5 pure DPS classes by 300 DPS or more.


In retrospect:
-No other hybrid class currently holds any records of highest DPS.
-DK's hold more non-hard mode DPS records than every pure DPS class, but rogues hold more hard mode encounter DPS records than any other class.

Out of every top 20 records possible from every Normal/Hard Mode Boss in Ulduar (excluding algalon):
-Rogues: 137 Records
-Death Knights: 61 Records
-Mages: 57 Records
-Warlocks: 44 Records
-Druids: 13 Records
-Hunters: 12 Records
-Warriors: 11 Records
-Priests: 8 Records
-Paladins: 6 Records
-Shaman: 8 Records
(I'm missing 3 records from some class, so one of these has 3 more than showing, sue me, it's 5 in the morning here. You can go to the link to figure out who the last 3 are)

Percent of Records held by each class (rounded):
-Rogues: 38%
-Death Knights: 17%
-Mages: 16%
-Warlocks: 12%
-Druids: 4%
-Hunters: 3%
-Warriors: 3%
-Priests: 2.2%
-Shaman: 2.2%
-Paladins: 1.6%


-Ret Paladins are by far the most grossly under represented, at only 6 out of 360records
-Shamans and Priests come in second to last at only 8 out of 360records
-Warriors and Hunters barely etch ahead of them, at 11 and 12 records records out of 360records
-Death Knights have more than five times as many records as the lowest pure class, Hunters.
-Rogues have eleven times as many records as the lowest next pure class.


Conclusion:
-Death Knights are grossly over performing in Ulduar.
-For the most part, the rest of the hybrids are all on par. (Ret could use a bump though)
-Rogues are grossly over performing on other pure classes.
-Hunters...yeah. They need help.
-One thing to note, Mages and Shamans (Mages for the most part, Shamans solely) only posted records on gimmick fights. There DPS is inflated on Vezax and Hodir, so take that into consideration when looking at records. For some reason shamans ONLY do well in hard mode Vezax, no other encounter has a record for them.


Just some food for thought. Now, I think it's Blizzard's turn to explain this. WoWMeterOnline is a very reputable program (which is what Blizzard likes to see), and respectable guilds like Premonition, Vodka (and others, too lazy to look) use it.
