Q u o t e:
WoW has something like 11 millions players. We don't just balance around the 100 best ones.

If an class is so powerful among less skilled players that it dominates but totally ineffectual against the best players in the world whose skill is high enough to counter it, we don't think that makes it balanced. The game needs to be fun for everyone, not just the most elite players.

What bugs me is the rationale behind the Vindication nerf. What the eff?

So, you nerf rets because we are strong against bad players? So what happens when I face a good player?

AND

I seriously think Blizzard has gotten too arrogant with the "11 million player" thing. This isn't the first time I have seen a response of this nature from Blizzard. "We have 10 million players, so screw you", am I right?

Thanks. I needed that wake-up call.

The point was that Retribution's representation is at a pretty good place for the highest rated players. Maybe it's even balanced. But as you drop down 100 points, its percentage grows. The deeper you drop, the more it grows. We feel like we owe the lower rated players, who still might be good at PvP and just not world-class, as balanced a game as we can.
