RaF "Grant a Level" Greyed

I just started playing wow and I started from my girlfriends RaF. Im up to level 33 now from questing and we havnt used any of our grant a level points. but when we went to try the grant a level was greyed out. shes level 74 and should be able to level me. we were in a group withing 2 feet of each other and tried everything we could think of, but still couldnt figure out why she cant grant me levels. any ideas or help would be great
