Unable to Connect - Updated

We expect intermittent login errors to be experienced over the next few hours. An authentication issue was identified and fixed earlier this evening, which is in the process of taking effect across all authentication servers. If you're seeing an "Unable to connect" error we recommend you wait a short time and then try again. As the fix takes effect across all authentication servers we expect the error to become less and less frequent. Thank you for your continued patience.

Receiving a 'server is busy' error is something you should visit the technical support forum or our support site ( http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&articleId=21014 ) for assistance in resolving. It is not related to the Unable to connect error detailed in this thread.
