You truly do not.

If you've seen it on Youtube before, you've seen people testing GM powers on private servers, which are not permitted under the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. There are also programs out there that claim to give you God-like powers for a small price. The demonstration videos they provide portray scenarios that are impossible to duplicate on the live realms.

I once knew in my mind it was impossible for a player to legitimately test a GM. I'm now torn, as you're certainly testing me. : )
