As Hortus has noted, this is indeed a known issue and is currently scheduled to be resolved in an upcoming patch. :)

Working at Blizzard does not preclude one from playing an Orc. Trust me, we are aware. :)

If the bug didn't exist in the previous patch, then you are not making any sense when you say that. Instead say, "We decided to introduce a new bug" and be honest.

Q u o t e:
The fix was not ready in time for the 2.1.3 patch but it should be in the next major patch.

While we were aware of this particular concern, we did not wish to impede the implementation of patch 2.1.3 and thus proceeded with our original schedule.

I understand your concern, Haax, and do apologize for the graphical anomaly. Our Quality Assurance and Development teams are working on this matter currently and intend to have it resolved soon.

Q u o t e:
What I also find ridiculous is how often blues link to LOCKED topics. GG.

The fact that the thread is locked is immaterial, as the related information within said thread is pertinent and readily available for review. If you wish to discuss this issue with other players, you're welcome to continue doing so here. :)

I think neither of you knows what is going on.

You're welcome to think whatever you like, Tojoro. For example, I think Jem was one of the best cartoons of the late 80s. Regrettably, while thoughts and truths do often overlap, they do not always co-exist.

Q u o t e:
Is this "soon" patch next week or is it 2 months from now?

We unfortunately do not have an ETA to provide our player base; however, please know that our goal is to remedy this incongruity as soon as possible.

I'd bet that if this graphic bug had anything to do with "female", "night elf", "draenei", or "hunter" they would have brought the realms down and fixed it.

No.

Edit: Batta's telling me I should have said, "You would have done the same."

My neural processing unit begs to differ.

We'll employ the proper methods to ensure proper resolution. At present, this matter is scheduled to be resolved in an upcoming patch, not a hotfix.

They can pass it along I am sure. This is after all the "Customer Service Forum".

We do not have direct contact with the Development Team. As we have said, the developers are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it as soon as they can.

As Bubba has said if you wish to express your views towards this graphical issue it would be better in the Suggestion Forums.

WHEN

That is a date I am unable to provide, Griglok. I'm sorry if I could provide you with some sort of time frame I would.

The earlier thread of Hortus's seems to have disappeared so let me quote it here.
Q u o t e:

Thanks for the reports everyone. We are aware that there is a size problem with the Orc shoulders. The fix was not ready in time for the 2.1.3 patch but it should be in the next major patch.

Essentially instead of delaying the 2.1.3 patch due to a graphical issue, it was decided that it should be pushed through so that other more pressing issues could be resolved.

I understand that the graphical issue is a sore spot, but please understand that our Development Team fully intends to address this issue as soon as possible, it does not affect your characters functionality in any way; it is a graphical issue only.

I am not part of the Development Team and I can not make these changes nor can I hurry them along. I'm certain everyone will flame me be my guest I can take it, I do ask that you keep it civil because I will close down this thread and any additional threads created if it does not remain so.

Can you at least get for us some confirmation that your devs are going to restore the appearance to exactly how they looked before? This would probably provide some relief to a lot of players.

That is the plan, Casual.:)

There were a few more changes that were made besides the addition of the 1 hour wait time for sending gold to a character on another account, Jez.

Here is the list of some of them, please remember that not all changes made to the game are printed in the patch notes.

Q u o t e:
General

* In-game mail containing money will now have a one hour delay and is no longer instantaneous. Auction House generated emails for successful auction sales are still instantaneous.
* Read in-game mail will now be kept for thirty days instead of three.
* The Warlock spell Incinerate has had the performance of its graphical spell effect improved.
* The "show launcher" option has changed so that it now defaults to "on". Players will now see the launcher when running WOW by default.
* Abyssal monsters in Outland are now lootable. (this includes Kraator)

User Interface

* Improved the performance of conditional macros, slightly increasing the framerate.
* Fixed a crash triggered by many unit frame AddOns.

Bug Fixes

* Fixed an issue with the movement of Archimonde's Doomfire.
* Fixed the wand missile art on most Shadow based wands to show the correct graphical effect.
* Infinity Blades will now despawn properly when the encounter with Kael'thas resets after a wipe.
* Gan'arg Underlings and Felhound Defenders are now properly classified as demons.

Q u o t e:
I understand this, but you are the Customer Service Representative, and that does mean that you're the one who gets to hear our complaints so that maybe it will be hurried along due to public outcry, or if nothing else, we're offered a venue to vent about a change that, while it doesn't effect our game play, does effect many people's willingness to play their orc characters.

You may vent all you like but as I said, just keep it civil. :) I am not able to hurry your complaints along as Game Masters do not have direct contact with the Development Team, CM's have direct contact with Developers and they pass on the posts found in the Suggestion Forums to them.
