I keep receiving error 202 when I try to upgrade my account.

if I were to buy the game cards they sell at walmart, would that upgrade the account?

If not, what else can be done and why would I be receiving this error?

Upgrading as in expansions, Stee? That cannot be done via gamecard. Gamecards are for time.

The first thing I'd recommend is trying to clear your cookies, cache and temp internet files, or trying another browser. Sometimes with this error that helps. Also note, some of our forms are known not to play nicely with Safari and Chrome, I'd recommend avoiding those.

Upgrading can also be done with a box copy.

If all else fails, our Billing department may be able to assist you with this.

Alright well the clearing the cookies did not work...

I have everything installed on my computer from WoW to wotlk. I just created my own account with the trial account thing and now I want to upgrade to a full account.

Guess Ill call the billing department in the morning... Unless theyre open 24 hours?(usa)

No, but they are open 12, so even if your timezone is off a bit, you should be able to catch them morning or evenings :)

No funds should 'disappear' on time or services you did not receive.

Now, there may be 'pendings' put on hold and unavailable for a bit for multiple submissions, but those should not be gone - just on hold.

That is actually determined by the financial institution, bank or credit card - as well as the number of days such funds are put on hold.

If this has happened and the funds haven't been released, calling the bank or credit card would be a good step, at the very least they should be able to tell you how many days they hold those.
