Good Morning Folks!

We currently have an issue with some upgrades and also password changes that our technicians are currently investigating.

If you've recently changed your password and find the new one does not work ingame, please try your old one. In most cases, that should allow you access for the moment.

Upgrades we hope to have corrected soon. I've been advised to recommend trying again in just a few hours and if that still doesn't seem to help - contact our Billing Department for further information/assistance in the morning.

Here are the Billing numbers should you have need of them.

I am very sorry for this inconvenience. While I do not currently have an ETA on these issues, our technicians are acutely aware and working to resolve this matter. Should any updates come through, I'll post them here.

Thank you so much for your patience.

While we continue to investigate the issue as a whole, we've recently received word that creating and logging into a new level 1 character on the account may help resolve the issue pertaining to upgrades.

As such, if you have recently upgraded your account but have not been able to access the upgrade content, we recommend that you please give this a shot.

Please feel free to follow up here and let us know whether or not this resolves your issue.

Once again, thank you all for your continued patience and understanding in this matter, and we hope to have the issue fully resolved as soon as possible.

It’s your friendly neighborhood mailbox, back with another update. We have identified a few other steps that may help our fellow players with this ongoing situation. While these steps may seem unrelated to the issue, we have seen them help resolve the matter in many cases.

If you are still experiencing this issue, we suggest you try resetting your password for the account via the login support page, or that you change the current password for your account via account management.

Login Support Page
https://us.battle.net/account/support/login-support.xml

Account Management Page
https://www.worldofwarcraft.com/account/menu.html

Both of these steps should help refresh your current account status and allow our system to recognize any recent changes that have taken place.

Alternatively, if you continue to experience difficulty and the steps provided thus far have not resolved the issue, please feel free to contact the Billing and Account services department by phone and we will be happy to help troubleshoot the matter further.

It looks as if it has been several hours since we've seen any posts in this thread. As such, I'm going to be removing it from our list of stickies.

Should you be experiencing any similar issues, please do not hesitate to bump this thread so that we can look into assisting you further. :)

Hey there, Lilani.

I'd love to look further into this with you, but let's do so outside of this thread.

Can you go ahead and copy your original post and use it to create a new thread? It appears your issue may be unrelated to the topic of this thread, and I want to make sure that it does not create any additional confusion.

I'll be sure to stop in and help you as soon as possible!

Oh! Make sure to include the name and realm of a character on the account when you create the thread. :)
