We will be performing maintenance on our Authentication Servers at 6 AM PDT and expected to last approximately two hours.

If you are already logged in, this really shouldn't impact anything unless you log out or get disconnected during this timeframe.

Please note you may not be able to log in here during that timeframe either as these forums also are somewhat dependent on authentication.

We will be performing maintenance on our authentication system tomorrow, May 28 beginning at 6:00 AM PDT. We anticipate the maintenance to take approximately two hours to conclude, and during this time players will be unable to login to the game.

I don't understand. They are going to shut down access to the servers for 2 hours at 0600 PDT and now we get an unannounced server restart on Bladefist? They couldn't do this when the authenticator server was going to be down? Another instance of proper prior planning on the part of Blizzard.

Actually, if you'd like to play during the time the authentication server will be unavailable, this is a good thing.

You should be able to log back in before that starts.

If you are still unable to access the game, you may want to try following the steps found here:

While I am unable to guarantee its success, it's definitely worth a shot while we look further into this.

You are joking, right?? Your authtentication is down and you want users to renew their IP address to fix it?

My goal is to get you back into the game as quickly as possible; if there is any resolution that might get you in the game while our Administrators are looking into the issue, I'm going to do everything I can to provide you with that information

My apologies for any confusion.
