Other Battle.net issue - Blue Tracker

After looking through the rather large forum on Battle.net issues i was unable to find a solution to my particular issue which is that when i attempt to log in to the game, i am met with "There is no World of Warcraft game account associated with this Battle.net account" when i can use the same battle.net account to log in to the forums or anywhere else and have it recognize my characters.

I currently have a subscription which i thought could be the problem but apparently isn't. Ideas/help would be greatly appreciated.

I warn you ahead of time that this is a bit of a shot in the dark, but are you sure that you have the North American version of World of Warcraft installed on the computer that you are currently attempting to log in from. For instance, if you are attempting to log into a European client it will recognize your Battle.net account, but will not recognize your North American account therefore giving the error message you are seeing.

While it is a timely process, you will most likely need to re-download and re-install the correct version of World of Warcraft. The full installation client for the North American release can be found here:

Downloading the game from the site listed above should allow you to install the North American version of World of Warcraft regardless of your current location. However, please be sure that uninstall the current version from your computer before downloading and re-installing the correct version.

I believe if you check the Data folder located inside the World of Warcraft folder there should be a separate folder labeled "enUS" if you have the North American release installed and "enEU" for the European release.
