Patch 3.1.3 DK changes

After several patches I am very displeased with all the negative changes to Death Knights. I originally wanted to make a tank type of character and decided to go with a dk because of the unique tanking abilites, which included lichbane(used to give a dodge bonus) , unbreakable armor and frost presence (was 80% armor point bonus). Of course this all made sense to me because Dks can not use a shield and those abilites make up for that. However all these recent changes have ruined dk tanking. I wasted weeks gearing and spending gold on my DK so I could tank. I have had to respec many times to try to balance him back after the changes, but has not gone well. I am afraid dk's will be doomed to spec as a DPS because they now can not compete with other "tank" type toons. If I would have know how bad Dks were going to end up I would have never made one. This really makes me want to just delete all my toons and go play warhammer....

The change was made because the numbers such as armor value were higher than we wanted it to be compared to the other tanks. This change was a small quick one, you can expect a more detailed set of changes in patch 3.2.

Maybe, but mainly I was pointing out that this was one change to something we saw as getting out of control. We have time to take a closer look at things before the next major content patch comes out and those tend to involve a wider set of changes.
